Join us for an Italian Taste & Tour

On June 8 from 5pm to 8pm, Penn Stone will host an Italian Taste & Tour,  celebrating Italian food, style and culture with friends from down the street and across the globe.

Our event will feature Alfa Ovens, a family owned business building pizza ovens since 1977. Alfa is introducing their ovens to America in 2018, and we are excited to welcome the founder of Alfa Ovens, Rocco Lauro, to our event. 40 years ago, Rocco and his partner Marcello Ortuso, founded Alfa Pizza, and still lead the family-owned company today.

Gesino Sgro will host our event. Gesino was born in Calabria, Italy and is the owner of Gesino’s Italian Specialties, a Downtown Lancaster business importing the finest pasta, sauces, oils and more. Gesino will provide pizza ingredients as well as a tasting of delicious Italian wines from the Montalcino, Sicily, and Veneto regions.

Mike Rowen from Michael’s Motor Cars will also join us for the evening. Michael’s Motor Cars is another neighborhood business specializing in personalized car buying, and they will showcase vintage Italian automobiles from Fiat and Alfa Romeo.
