DESCRIPTION:Join us on Tuesday\, February 6 when Steve Long leads a presentation on adhered-veneer wall cladding and relevant building codes. \nThis seminar will help you understand Pennsylvania’s new building codes as it relates to installation of thin stone veneer and hard-coat stucco finishes. The presenter will take an in-depth review of the wall system construction\, the past problems with the system\, and the new changes to Pennsylvania’s residential building codes. The audience will leave with a better understanding of the ‘What\, How\, and Why’ of PA’s codes. \nThis seminar is free to attend. Complimentary refreshments will be provided. \nAbout the presenter: Steve Long is considered a leading expert in hard coat stucco\, thin stone veneer and other applied wall systems for building envelopes and how to prevent moisture intrusion. He maintains a current understanding of building construction and changes to its code system and has developed and presented instructional programs for Pennsylvania Housing Research Center.
